The 2012 BCMCC has announced winners!

David Ciancaglini – “Seikilos Quartet” for Oboe, Bassoon, Marimba and Piano
Devin Farney – “Fire and Ice” for Soprano, Bassoon and Piano
Greg Steinke – “Suspended” for Bassoon, Violins I and II, Viola, and Cello

Thank you to all the composers who shared their talents with the BCMCC.

There were many exciting new works submitted.  As a result, honorable mention has been extended to:

Clint Dawson – “Burgundy in Blue” for Bassoon, Violin, Viola, Double Bass and Piano
Stephen Yip – “Beauty of the Dark Shadows” for Oboe, Bass clarinet, Bassoon, and Piano

The BCMCC would not be possible without the support of the bassoon and composing communities.  Thank you to our outstanding panel of judges: Carolyn Beck, Michael Burns, Jefferson Campbell, Cynthia Cioffari, Monica Ellis, Judith Farmer, Lynn Hileman, Jeffrey McCray, Kathleen McLean, and Maya Stone.
